Also Moetron who put most of the information I used.

The list is the V.1, so it's still incomplete. But it show most of the interesting anime for the new season. However, my post is incomplete, I will only show anime that interested me. Anime like chu-bra, I will pass quickly on it or won't be in the post.
Another point, some movies are released in November like Macross ~Itsuwari no Utahime~ or Eden of the East : King of Eden movie I, it's still in fall so it won't appear in the post.
Let's begin !
It come with the movie, an" episode 0" come for the movie event. It's an OVA based on a prequel. I'm really impatient to see it. For more info - visit here
I recall the movie will be entirely a story from Eiichiro Oda and is a part of the story. The battle against Shiki is one of the biggest battle Luffy is going to engage. I'm impatient since I'm a fan of One Piece.
I invite you to take a look to this link to know more ^^
I'm not part of fans of it, but I love so much Albator and things similar, after looking the ship and the epic galactic atmosphere, all I can said is : "Whoah !" with shining eyes, haha. So if I can, I will try to do a review once the movie is out in good quality for me.
During summer holiday, I watched the TV serie, and the 6 OVA. It was simply awesome, the background, the story behind, and the epic Alucard of course. However this seventh movie is not on Alucard, but more focused on Sera Victoria who will develop her vampire power ... huhuhu it's interesting. The song of the trailer is good so I suppose the OST of this movie is going to be good.
Kanata Kumika is a 15 years old girl want to enlist in the army and dream to be in the elit unit who protect the city of "Seize". This unit is composed of 5 girls (why girls -_-) who lead the section 1121 in the country of the republic of Helvecia which was ravaged by mutiple wars in the past.
I was first not interested because I found the design doesn't fit the plot. However, there is some big name behind this show so I prefer wait more about it. But I'm sure to watch the first episode to see the quality of the anime which seem to be good.
I already do a little post with the plot about it with Yamato ship and Vampire Bund, so I put the link since I won't repeat myself again.
I found it interesting since we don't see a lot of bad boy (physically) being a butler, it's like to see Rambo in a cute outfit ... lol. It's a comedy show so it can be really great since it have the potential to do it. .. and a drop of harem too :)
Here the plot : Ryuugamine Mikado is a boy who longs for the exciting life of the big city. At the invitation of his childhood friend Masaomi, he transfers to a school in Ikebukuro. Masaomi has warned him about people he doesn't want to cross in the city: a champion fighter, an informant, and a mysterious gang called "Darazu." Nervous from Masaomi's stories, Mikado witnesses an urban legend on his first day in the city, the Headless Rider astride a black motorcycle. From then on, the existence of supernatural cases and a gang called the Yellow Turbans will rise to the surface, and Ikebukuro will pushed to the breaking point.
Oh, again Ikebukuro, and urban legends. It's not original but still interesting. But the trailer clearly made me want to watch the show. I hope you will get the same feeling too. A little word on the design, I, specially like (it surely remind you about Yozakura Quartet), and it fit greatly to the show in my opinion.
For the one who follow the serie since the first season to Paris, you will be happy to welcome the new season (and the final ?). This is a good serie but I never follow it since I have always other things to do but it's still good ^^.
A recent information. It's two OVA which will be a condensed version of the TV version of 24 episodes. Not only this, since there are more editing : the OP "disillusion" reworked, new OP scene animation ... etc. (more information on Moetron)
It's to commemorate the release of the movie "Unlimited Blade works", and I'm thankful to these OAV since I planned to re-watch the serie before the movie so I suppose now I can watch these OAV instead.
Just above the recap OVA, and the next day, the movie. Fantastic no ? well, type moon design is always a pleasure for my eyes. And the story is delicious, I can't wait to see it in short.
Same release day but no doubt Unlimited works win over this movie. However the first season of the anime was semi-epic even if I wasn't into lolicon. Too much beams ! But it was still interesting, I wished to see them at full power when Nanoha and Fate are adults (shitty restrictor !). Well, wait for some epic ^^
You have the king of Eden first, and here the second movie. Well, too much for me, and I haven't end the anime. Maybe I wait so much about the serie but I was a little disappointed by the show, well it's still interesting to see how is Akira now.
Mature anime (with high possibilities of fan service in the anime but it have a reason so ...) with lot of blood and NSFW scenes. Since I read the manga, this is what I can say, lot of action, and a solid story behind it so It's better to be good since it have the potential to be one.
There are not a lot of information about it, but I just hope the design of the anime is similar to the manga.
From the same author of Bakemonogatari novel, here his new adaptation.
The 12-volume historical epic centers on Shichika Yasuri, the seventh generational head of the Kyotō-ryū school of martial arts in medieval Japan. He and his older sister Nanami live on an isolated island, until a military advisor named Togame tells him of the final 12 swords forged by a legendary swordsmith. At Togame's bidding, Shichika embarks on a journey to find all 12 of the swords.
The plot sound more solid than Bakemonogatari, so I can't wait to see it in anime. If you watch the trailer, there is a interesting design and background ... *shining eyes*
A vampire princess wants to create a special district for her kind off the coast of Japan, despite the terrorists and rival factions arrayed against her.
It's surely one of the best- of this season, it's sound really promising, I just cross fingers to see how far the anime is good.
Trailer [1]
Others on the list : Ookami kakushi, Hidamari Sketch, Chu-bra.
The list is incomplete, to know more, I invite you to read Moetron's post.
For February, there are the movie Disappearance of Suzumiya (I dont have any high hope in it seriously, it's simply for money ..maybe). On the other side, there is also Halo Legends (I will try to watch tonight on Halo waypoint on xbox live the second episode since it's available for one day) and Dante's Inferno (Trailer link) which is the epic anime.
However February is incomplete, there are a lot of unannounced anime.
Winter is an new interesting season like always, not like last years where "love" was the main theme, seems this new year are full of movies interesting, no doubt the One Piece is must with some Fate/Stay Night. I think we are full of good anime again, but some shows more potential than others, like Dance in the vampire bund.
For a little preview, I ended with shining eyes so it's a good sign.
But ... springs is coming too, with :
- Gintama Shinyaku Benizakura-hen movie, a first movie with Benizakura arc. [Teaser]
- Black Rock Shooter anime
- The return of Trigun with a movie also
- Angel Beats from Kei (Kanon, Clannad ...etc.)
- xxxHolic rou, a new season !
- Sekirei pure engagement, second season, to complete the story with more fights.
...And more.
And of course, Gundam 00 movie and Unicorn OAV.
Strong spring season this season, it’s actually overwhelming.
Contains the usual titles in order of airing, episodes watched, opinion/fangirling, subbers, what I’m still watching, etc. as I lack blog posts. Busy semester with too many shows. I end up watching more than I can blog, thus the lack of entries lately T.T;;
Note: rather lengthy post due to the numerous shows.
That time of year again.
As Winter moves into Spring, must give an opinion of how Winter ’11 has faired so far *A*
Contains the usual titles in order of airing, episodes watched, opinion/fangirling, subbers, what I’m still watching, etc.
Done with exams, onto what I’ve been trying to and will be following for Fall 2010 :]
(why is it so long!? afdgh it explains why I’m behind.)
subbers included.
Oh man I’m taking FOREVER on this post, it’s way over due. Been so busy and having a life and essentially trying to catch up with everything I’ve missed only to be pulled further into needing to watch more as episodes come out like every dayyyyyyyy.
Also been reading Millennium series on recommendation of violinkit Dx I need the last book and need to watch the movies.
What I’m going to be watching/rambling on this Season. I’m not doing too bad this time (for once!) I’m getting the hang of this :] It’s just dropping quality for quantity T_T
Am including what subbers I’m following as well.
So weird to say “Summer” when it’s clearly Winter for me. Oh it’s so cold ;_;
I did not wish to watch much new anime this season. I still do not wish to watch much anime this season! But the world, it seems, is trying to get me to watch new anime this season.
First, I am sucked into Maid-sama by a friend. And while that was great because the anime is fun, it makes me wonder first of all how weak my will is and second, what else am I missing out on? And how much am I really saving myself from?
I don’t think anyone expects anything from this season of anime to be excellent and a classic that will be remembered for years to come, but I am hearing a lot more positivity about this season now that it has actually started than we heard in the look ahead to it. Of course, from the other side there is still the same negativity.
“Angel Beats is a Haruhi ripoff!”
“Why did that one character have to disappear? Now I don’t want to watch this anymore.”
“Oh em gee, the OP to this is terrible. No way I can watch this.”
But that is to be expected.
And then, of course, there are genuine arguments for all of the series. That Arakawa Under the Bridge is amusing. That it’s too weird. That some conversations in another series move too quickly, or that the only redeeming things in Hakuouki are the bishies, because everything else about it is too slow and boring.
I don’t know how much of that is true; I can’t judge bias on something I haven’t watched myself. But it makes me think, why do I watch series based on others’ opinions? Ha ha, even, why do I have this blog to give out my own opinions? Mine can be just as silly or unfounded as someone else’s, can’t they?
But, my point is this: You guys and your tempting ways are cruel!
Why do I get chided for passing up Angel Beats! on a daily basis? I do not love the art style they are using (something is wrong with those eyes), and apparently all of the characters are either boring, otherwise unappealing, or nothing more than murderous. Or all three.
But then I open up Pixiv and there are so many awesome Angel Beats! fanarts, I get jealous for poor Maid-sama!, which is being completely ignored by Japan. How is a devil lover supposed to pass up Yui?
I shall have to stop reading the Angel Beats! episodic posts before they get to me. And flee from people who link the Arakawa OP (which has great fanart, by the way). Too much temptation for me!
I guess I should probably say this: Blogs are a powerful force. They can shake even the seemingly strongest resolve. It kind of goes against everything I said before, but keep blogging! Temptation is terrible, but at least it’s nice to read.
